Default paint and bodywork is DONE!!

i didn't get this done today, i actually got it done last weekend, but haven't had the chance to post it due to me needing to focus on other things with my family.

i got this done last weekend, and then all of a sudden, 3 days later, my wife took off and took our daughter with her. its been a rough week, and i simply CAN'T enjoy the hard work I put in. I don't care, really, as my little girl takes priority over everything.

i don't have any pics of the "DURING", but i have two pics of the finished product. sorry if the pic quality seems a little lower than normal, i had to take the pics using my LG Voyager.

for those wondering. I had a body shop take care of the rust and had them fix the major dents that where still left over from the wreck. they also filled in the holes on the deck lid from where the spoiler used to be, and they also took care of the hole where the OEM antenna used to be. brought it back home, and took care of the minor bodywork myself. then i sprayed the car with nice fresh paint in my uncles "makeshift" paint booth. sprayed it with the JDM moldings OFF (also new) and then sprayed the moldings. I put it all back together and hit it with some clear. also got rid of the nastiest bubbling tint i'd ever seen. now, if only i could get my 5Zigen wheel fixed (the one that was damaged in the wreck), this car would look beyond baller. for those that are asking, i didn't color match the grille or front lip. left those black. now that all the rest of the car looks bangin, i think i'll go back and hit the grille and lip with some flat black, just so the paint looks fresh on all areas of the car.

next things on the agenda: JDM window visors, mugen rep sides, and JDP OE2 lip. but it'll be a looooooong time before any of that comes to life. I have other things to worry about. If i would have known that my wife was going to leave after last weekend, i would have never started the project so i could have spent more time with my little girl.

thanks everyone. this was the first time i've painted a car by myself, too. everyone in person is telling me it came out looking almost professional.

and thanks to everyone for the kind words about my wife and daughter. things are rough, but we are patching things up and are making progress. it'll take time, but things will be better off, soon enough.
