car shoots blacksmoke!!!

My eg is shooting out black smoke, and it has small black smoke dots on the rear bumper. The plugs are white. and it drinks gas like a v8. I have a d15b with a vtec-e head. need help asap

Is the CEL ON? Also check the fuel pressure regulator and for an exhaust leak near or upstream of the O2 sensor.

Sounds like it is running really rich, black soot usually indicates rich mixtures. So try leaning out witha FPR.

no cel, obd 1. I'll check the pressure tmmr. do you know why is drinks gas like a v8?

The engine is running rich, which means that way too much fuel is being injected into the cylinders. This can occur for a variety of reasons, some of which were posted above.

Is the ECU chipped, or did you add one of those ebay $2 "increase hp by 15%" inline "chip"?
