I finally hit 12's with my SOHC!!!

Last night I ran 12.9 twice, 12.8 twice, and a best run of 12.678 @ 108.88 mph! Trapspeeds ranged from 108-111 mph with a best mph of 111.30 mph.

I'm so happy! These runs were on 9.5 psi of boost, and using some 205/50-14 BFG G-force drag radials at 15 psi.

My 60' times were in the 1.9-2.0 range, with a best of 1.928

Here's my best run:

60' - 1.928
330' - 5.339
1/8 - 8.155
mph- 86.51
1000' - 10.605
1/4 - 12.678
mph - 108.88

Ya gotta love the SOHC!!!

Congratulations!

When you reach a goal and it has to do with Hondas, Spread the word!

This post shows that a stock SOHC can run a 12 on boost, with some consistency.

If this was a B16 or B18 turbo, I'd say "who cares..", but on a SOHC, props my friend!!

Good job on breaking into the 12's! The best I ever did on and SOHC motor w/ headwork and a 50 shot of NOS was:

R/T: .528
60: 2.206
330: 5.988
1/8: 9.076
MPH: 79.87
1000: 11.707
1/4: 13.958
MPH: 103.39

on street tires!

Ah...the SOHC days.... Keep up the good work, you'll find yer way into a b series motor sooner or later
