i stumbled upon this 84 DX about one week ago. it was 2 miles from house at a honda/acura salvage yard.they also buy and sell used cars. i know the owner and he picked it up at an auction. its been carfaxed and is legit. 83k miles and no rust.the car runs and drives like new.it has so many new parts and needs nothing.

here is a list of whats new from what i can see
front brake pads
rotors
calipers
brake hoses

new (oem) t-belt
water pump
alt. belt
t-stat

rear drums
shoes
wheel cyl.
brake hoses

brand new oem exhaust (a-pipe back)

brand new yokohama 185-60-13,really nice lookin tire.not sure the model.

it also came with a set of HF aluminum wheels(which will be FS btw),a FSM and ETM, and an 84 sales brochure.

and just recently i installed an NOS trunk carpet

 

what exactly is NOS? ive been hearing alot about this now that im a 3g owner!

and by the way nice car! my first car was an '87 hf!

NOS means new old stock

So if some says they got a NOS trunk carpet. Its brand new, usually oem (i think) carpet. Some NOS parts can go for a pretty penny.

 

I love old school NOS parts! Nice new car and get that Si hatch project done!

great find! that thing is awesome.. i've always loved the HF wheels, too, but i need them in a useable size!! if i could get a rim made that looked like those in like a 15x7 that would be awesome...

those tires arent made anymore, old yok avs intermediates which were an awesome tire in their day. nice find!

its a CVCC.76 HP.doesnt sound like much but it moves along nice.its only 1700lbs.
