Default Greddy SP2 Exhaust Catback

Hello, I'm kind of new to this.

I was on Club RSX forum and this person selling his 03 RSX-S and he's parting out as well.
I'm interested in buying his Greddy SP2 for $550 (Good condition).
Now, I did some research for awhile and I can't find good answer for it. So I'm just really curious...I have a 06 RSX Auto, not type S or standard, will his Greddy SP2 for type S work on mine?

Thanks.

All the exhausts systems will interchange. So that will fit on your base auto.

The Greddy SP2 is only for the 02-04 model. I don't think it will fit on your 06.

why would it not fit 05-06?

The Greddy SE Exhaust fits all years so what's different about the SP2?

The body style is defferent between the 02-04 and 05-06 model. And the cat-back exhaust for the base model and the type-s is different too.

There's a lot of people with base running a full type-s exhaust system.

Right in the CRSX store it says the greddy SE will fit all models. Granted its not the same exhaust no reason a SP2 was made differently?

I understand headers don't fit the same but if some can swap most all could swap. Some might need minor adjustment.

I don't think it matters, but don't quote me on that.

That's because the length is different between the two right?

see i know if you have a3 instead of a2 there is some modification that needs to be done, also if your going from an 06 exhaust to a car that is an 03 i think there is gonna be more issues that you will have to fix

he's ripping you off anyway, if you shop around, you can probably find it for that price anyway new. Just get a new b-pipe and a stock type-s exhaust IMHO cause the stock type-s has good flow anyway and will sound nice

if it's type-s, the year doesn't matter. right now, i'm running 06 header/cat with 02 b-pipe/exhaust. same design and length but the b-pipe is bigger on the 06.

Thanks guys.
I didn't buy from that guy.
I knew it'd be really expensive.
I got my eyes on something else now : )

What do you guys think?
I'm just curious, base model Greddy SP2 should be fine for both base AT and base MT, correct?

Only way a Type-S exhaust is going to fit a base is if you're running a Type-S header... the other option is the buy the adapter but you won't be getting full potential out of the exhaust...
