iam thinking about the megan racing header, high flow cat, and cat back.
anyone here had or have any megan racing exhuast product and if there is any issue with them? i have seen evo's runing megan headers no problem i just wanna know if it fits and works right with k20's. and if you have any of those products how reliable and how is the fitment.?

 

i hear good things, but forget the high flow cat. Get the race header!

 

so the header is good? emmision is a problem.

 

I have a lot of things from Megan Racing, mostly suspension stuff, but I also bought their header for my Integra about 1.5 years ago and it's beginning to "spot rust." It looks really nice at first, but now that is has aged a bit the rust is coming. Also, it's never seen any salt/snow. I don't have any other complaints for it though or Megan Racing in general.

 

I don't believe in Megan... cheap generic knock-off products IMO

I agree with Nahonda and Spaz but I have heard their lca are not that bad... but most of it is just nothing really special...

 

you get what you pay for most of the time, but i dont mean that spending alot will get you the best of parts either so be careful, i have no experience with Megan so i cant say much except a friend of mine had alot of problems with his Megan headers on his DC2 LS so i wouldnt buy it ... i have toda : )

 

I had a Megan Racing shorty header and it was probably the most stupid thing I've ever purchased for a car. It fit ok, but there was absolutely no noticeable gain, and you will be upset and wanting more guaranteed.

 

I had a used megan header on my Ej8 and it was fantastic for the money. He said he had it on for 2 years and when i put it on it fit fantastic and i felt somewhat of a gain (on a d16 tho). I'd go for it again on my EP3 too so i'd say go for it especially for commuting and you don't have mad dough.

 

ok i get it the header suck azz becuase it looks the same as stock lol but ppl hes asking about the exhuast i think lol. i was wondering the same i want a exhaust and how is it? does it sound rice?

what about with the megan test pipe, its cheap and i figured there's not much room to make mistake's with a straight pipe?

well with the raceheader no need for test pipe and probably a difference in gains. but i havent heard anything bad about fitment with these.

lol just remember raceheader, or even no cat + megan cat back is really loud

 

yea i fell ya, i bought my car bout 2 weeks ago and it has some bobo exhaust shop mod its loud but probably is raping me of power right now also
i can only imagine with a header or no cat..lol
