Default H22A7 into EG from Italy

Hello everyone, my name is Claudio, and I' am Italian.

Unfortunately do not speak English, and I apologize if I write with a lot of mistakes.

I apologize if this section is not suitable, but I have not found anything for the presentation of new members.

We come to us, I have a civic EG6, equipped with the B16A2.

I made some changes, ITR brakes, Koni Yellow adjustable dampers with H & R springs, anti-roll bars ITR, ITR airbox, catback Supersprint, silent block Energy suspension, Buddy Club P1Racing Wheels, Mazda MX3 seats, cluster ITR, Spoon **** and Sparco steering wheel.

The car is very fun to drive, but the glorious B16A2 is too small for my tastes.

At home I have a H22A7 engine derived to Accord Type-R 2001, with gearbox, lsd, Spoon throttle body 70mm, P28 ECU chipped, motor mount HA Sport EGH2, HA Sport axel shafts 2.9 400cv, plus complete ITR gearbox with LSD.

I am undecided whether to install the H22 using HA Sports motor mount, or the H2b.

Unfortunately in Italy we have no experience with H2B in fact be the first to do this job.

I also assessed the possibility of using the ESP motor mount.

You do i?

Thank you very much, and sorry again for my bad English.

We attached a few photos.

Claudio

welcome little Italy. nice parts, your so lucky to have accord r's, go for h2b if you got the cash, would be a sweet setup, but if not the accord gearbox has lsd so really its a win win situation. nice car, keep it clean and let us know when you get that thing in there.

Edit: If you want a fun street car, you have good parts and just need to put them together

Thanks for the welcome!

I doubt whether to go for H2B or not, is because my Accord' s gearbox have the LSD.

Another question that I would not have problems with the axel shafts, and I think H2B is the right solution.

Meanwhile, thanks!

just go h2b b did you have aftermarket mounts with the b16 in there? with the h2b kit from qsd your axels will be in the stock location so better axel angel and no "breakage"

I have the b16 engine with the stock mount, if I go to them H2B exchange with the reinforced mount.

Did you say it is good to put in the original mount, the energy suspension reinforced insert?

Go h2b. Much more fun. You would only need to buy HA Sport Motor Mounts for your car with a B series motor...

Hello man, it works well the Exedy clutch?

The ITR tranny with OEM 4.7 Final Drive, is not too short?

thanks and good setup.

The H22 + The Type-R Tranny is a match made in heaven....!

And yes the exedy clutch is great but a twin disc is more than overkill with my setup ....i just got a really good deal on it !

I would consider h2b cause you have everything there to get it done. There are write ups all over HT so you'll have help. As for mounts maybe consider Innovative, they are cheaper than hasports. Look at my sig. Bone stock jdm h22 dynotuned 208 whp and 161. Also your b16 tranny will be just fine. Raise up the rev limiter a few hundreds or just run some taller slicks. Maybe 23's. I'm currently running 22's but I have a gsr tranny.

Hello guys,

I finally decided to go to H2B. I received the Clutch Master kit.

H2B flywheel and the FX300 clutch.

We feel for further developments.

Good! H2B was the choice:
more parts for the gearbox and B-gearbox is stronger than H-gearbox.

and H22A7 with a 70mm throttle-body is the better stock N/A 90' honda engine.
230whp easy.

Go to bolt this

ps: you could keep the power-steering with a custom part who fixing the pump under the frame.
