base maps
The B16B never came in an OBD1 car, therefore there is no OEM basemap availible. You'd have to run a tweaked B16A basemap, or find someone with a B16B that was tuned on obd1. The main issue is most people who get the B16B are jdm freaks, and would NEVER consider using anything besides the coresponding obd2 ecu.
will i find the site with the datas and i see the a b16a "cheoh.bin" and a type r "Crome-Stock-TypeR-P73-240cc.bi" so which one do you guys think is best for my set-up. I have a b16a2 with ctr cams, sk2 mani, type-r throttle, rmf narrow header 4-1, 3" short ram intake with viscosity thing, and stock bottom. I'm leaning towards the type-r until i get so cash to get a better tune. but any other suggestion would be helpful.
You don't even need to respond to this thread. Talk to Xenocron and he'll give you all of your options in a neat little package. If you want a real basemap, you're going to need a chipped/converted P28/P06 and tried-and-true basemap. All of which you can get from Xenocron with ease.
