We started running out of fuel in the high rpm's. Next up is some bosch 1000's and dual pumps. We also plan on redoing his intercooler and piping setup. We'll also be stepping up the tune with some q16 and more boost. Results will be up when the weather gets better.

Every time i see a dyno video like this it makes me want my car back even more. Nice power for the setup on pump gas. It'll be fun to see what it makes with more fuel on Q16. This really makes me want to get done with school and get a boosted S....

how many rpm's were you turning that out too 9500? any head or valvetrain work done?

 

Dual pump setup is on the way. We are starting to collect parts to make it happen. He actually does have a hardtop and the body shop is setting up his hardtop and new front bumper for fitment and paint. The engine has full supertech valvetrain and we spun it as high as 9500rpm.

Ahhh...every now and then i get the urge to need one of these cars. After finishing this one i think i need one again.

Nice! Will this s2k be running the import wars series? We will be taking our s2k up there and it would be nice to have another s2000 to beat up on those rotaries!

The owner of the car will not be dedicated to any race series'. Its more for his enjoyment than anything. That doesnt mean we wont hit the track or even one of the IW events, but i wouldnt expect us to show up with this car every month. We plan on track tuning the car at Autobahn and Gingerman sometime in May to prep it for track events. This S2K is going to be an all around monster.

 

Great job on the build guys, glad I could be a part of it on the engine! Sounds great and looks like a super fun car
