Default Clutch Pedal Broke

I need some info, I was driving around in my ride Accord 6th Gen 4cyl 5speed and my Clutch Pedal Broke I dont think my foot is that heavy. So.... I need to know what went wrong and also what do i need to do besides getting a pedal. I dont see any DIY on the pedals and the Haynes book is no help. I keep seeing pedal stuck to the floor but nothing with my situation and what do I have to do to fix it. I will be going to get the pedal today.

you mean you literally broke the "pedal"? If you did, only YOU can tell what went wrong.. or are you saying the "system" is not working properly?

please be specific what the symptoms are before you buy anything.

I was driving and I started feeling the clutch weird like loose so at one stop light I tried to figure it out. I was not far from where I was going and then as I stepped on the clutch and then it was done..... I put my emergency lights on and looked under the dash with my cell and to my surprise the pedal was broken. Just the clutch link was attached and when all was said and done pedal had been broken where it connect to the rotating swivel thing "I dont know what its called".

I just had this exact same problem last night. I also have a 6th-Gen Accord (1999 coupe)

On my way home from work I was shifting from 1st to 2nd, and I felt the clutch pedal "pop". I couldn't get it into gear, so I coasted around the corner and got out to see what happened. When I looked under the dash, the clutch pedal had cracked right at the bolt that it pivots on.

Luckily I was able to get back to shifting (kinda) by jamming on the pedal while trying to push it up and to the left at the same time.
When I got home, I looked at it again and couldn't see any other problems. So I called my honda dealer and ordered a new pedal.

Now I'm wondering if my gas or brake pedals are gonna break too.

I have just had a very similar problem with my 98' Accord 2.0i. It looks like the housing that contains the pedal linkage etc. and actually bolts to the bulkhead has sheared off. I find it strange that the pedal housing has a square mating face that bolts to the bulkhead but Honda, in their wisdom, have only bolted it down in 2 places (opposite the clutch link under the bonnet) They could still have bolted it in 4 places and it would have been much stronger.
I was suspicious of it a while ago as the whole pedal assembly seemed to move from side to side and the pedal never came back to its end position. It seems it was metal fatigue.
I am at a loss what to do now.
Has anyone heard of this or had it happen? Any hints or tips to a newbie would be gratefully received.

In response to your clutch pedal breakage. Is it the pedal cage that has broken? This fits to the bulkhead with 2 nuts under the dash. The Master/Cyl linkage bar comes through here and fits to the pedal. The hosing or cage for the pedal is made of thin tin plate and mine just snapped off at the 2 nut fixings.
I removed the whole clutch pedal assy. and had to have the Bulkhead facing plate welded and made a bit stronger.
I am now in the process of refitting it all. I will keep you posted on how that turns out.
As a footnote, I consulted Honda here in the UK about the price of the tin plate cage for the pedal and they quoted £284 just for that housing!!!!!
How can they warrant a price like that. It is just a bit of 32 gauge formed tin plate. Oh well.
P.S. If anyone has any diagrams of the clutch Master and Slave cylinder system on an Accord 98' plate I could really do with one.
I hope this clarifies a few things for you.
Cheers,
Si
