Default turbo and oversized valves

any bad things about using oversized valves and turbo? sould i run the same size for intake and exhaust, or run one like .5 mm and one 1 mm oversized?

it looks like this topic's been beat to death but no one seems to have a clear answer.. i just ordered +1mm intake and +.5 exhaust Ferrea valves, will this be ok for a boosted b18c1 with wiseco 8.5:1 pistons and approx 18 lbs boost? thanks

Oversized valves are nice, but honestly all you need to do is crank up the boost if you have stock sized. I was going to run OS valves but ferrea wants $750 for customs, so instead I went with SI's with stock specs.

The valve kit I looked at (pro precision) or whatever came to like $1000.00 with shipping, but I have a friend that's getting them for very very cheap, prob around 200.00 direct from ferrea. so I'm deffinatly going to oversize if I can, but I need to know the best combo, I've heard, .5 on intake 1 on exhaust... .5 on both, 1 on both.. the guy from ferrea didn't seem to think there was a prob with 1mm intake and .5 exhaust since with turbo your forcing more air and fuel into the motor than it was engineered for, plus with only .5 mm on exhaust you get better spooling, and proper back pressure without stoking the EGT off the gauge.. am i correct in my thinking?

ohh yea... bump too.. lol..
