Default Why VTEC killer cams and not LS?

I've seen people running VTEC Killer cams and I just want to know why not to run aggressive LS cams with similar profiles? Wouldn't that be cheaper?

And I know, you would need an LS head, but I guess this would apply to people building engines more than adding cams to an existing engine.

if you saw the valvetrain on an ls, you'd cringe about taking that over 8k.

vtec killer cams were designed for race classes that did not allow for variable valve timing.

All of the above, also if your using the CraneCams roller/VTEC killer you can utilize a roller tappet rocker design (in a B or H-series)
