i was wondering exactly what i would need to do this swap.can i use my wiring harness.my mounts?basically anything you can throw at me.and is it even worth it.I knno alot of people are going to say why not just get a b series.but im just curious for now

If using D17a engine into an EK you'd have to use everything what D17a had. Things like ECU, wiring for sensors, shifter unit and cables, engine mounts(custom), custom axes(unless you can custom ones using OEM parts), and etc, etc.

If I were you tho, I'd rather just put D16Y8 or D15B(JDM) or even an old D16A and start from there. It is just soOo not worth it to swap a D17a to ANYTHING.

..that's just me tho. =P

 

oh ok.i was just wondering.i thought it would just bolt up just like any other d series.i think i rather go with a bseries if im going to go thru all that trouble
