new rods, stock sleeves and pistons, how much boost? h22a1
i know this has been talked before, but ithe search isnt working right, if its done right and good fuel mgmt, do you think it would hold 10-15 psi, prob 10-12 daily driven the 15+ at the track.
w/new valvetrain and this boost, what do you think the whp will be. im hoping to make like 300+whp

stock pistons or forged
u can get 300whp with a stock h22 just get an inline pro headgasket and a nice size turbo with a big turbine housing
300whp its easy on a stock h22 it u got the right setup

I'm pretty sure he means STOCK pistons because you can't run forged pistons in the stock H22a sleeves.
Anyways, you can run 10-12psi with a GREAT standalone ECU, but I've heard of some guys blowing pistons rings. I would wait and do a FULL rebuild with forged pistons/sleeves.

Does this hold true for nitrous also? I mean, can you get 300whp out of the lude with nitrous and be fine as long as your not detonating? If so, wouldnt that mean 100-125 shots can be ran on a stock H22 as long as detonation isnt occuring? Also, what kind of times would a Lude run with 300whp?
you'd need more of a shot then that since its only got about 160-170 whp, but i would run over 100 shot on stock internals, and i wouldnt do that all the time, ive heard of people running 150, but i wouldn't do it!
btw-any body know of anything to make the pistons stronger?

I wouldn't boost anymore than 8-10psi without a complete reuild. Having better rods is great but it's the pistons that are the weak link. The ringlands to be more specific.
