removing climate control trim

Default removing climate control trim

Do i have to remove the dash to take the plastic surrounding piece off? It seems as if there is screws holding it on from the back

yes you do have to take out the dash its not that bad its like 8 screws on the backside

Edit, nevermind. I thought the OP was trying to remove the climate control, not the surrounding bezel.

I took all that out and there is one screw thats through the back to the right of the steering wheels that i cant get to. I tried a l screw driver and got a couple turns but it would be impossible to put back in

i have done it before yes it sucks, you gotta pull out all the old tricks like Vaseline on the screw driver to hold the screw on there, i don't know what they were thinkin when they designed it like that.It is possible but if you don't want to you may find leaving that screw off makes very little difference when i first got my car the screw wasn't there and i couldn't tell at all until i took it off and noticed it had a hole there
