h22, stock pistons aftermakket rods, what needs to be done?
ive heard that some pistions need to be moddedd some way to accept aftermarket rods, what needs to be don to an h22a1?
i cant run a aftermarket rod with a stock pistons the pistons are the weak link the stock rods will hold 350-400whp
the type s piston might fit on some aftermarket rods, since they are made to accept a floating wrist pin.Maybe youll have to have the rods custom made to fit the wrist pin diameter.
this is an absolute waste of time and money.
if yoiu plan to go fi, the pistons/ringlands will go before the rods have any hint of wear.
if you're going all motor, a stock honda rod will easily handle anything you throw at it.
