i checked my car today and i jumped the wire to see what my check engine light was.. and then i look but no flashes it just stay lit ...what code is that ???
i need help asap ..when i jump the wire to check the check engine it stays lit up????

did you jump the right ones

 

therres only one to jump the plug thats connected with the rubber green housing

have you done any recent mods? or moved any sensors? thats what happened when i replaced my fan. the sensors werent working so my check engine light went off.

 

did you jump it right. theres a plug you jump with two wires coming out of it. when you turn your key to acc. the cel will flash to let you know its in diagnostic mode. if it doesn't flash its not jumped right.

 

It will be a lot less head ache if u used a OBD2 scanner or code reader on it.
