My 03 came with Hondata reflash in it, i have had the car for about 6 months now and plan on keeping it stock so dont see the point of having the reflash and using premium gas for no reason. So i was curious if i can sell it, i am unsure about the whole key immbolizer thing.Or is it as simple as selling my reflashed for $$$+a stock ecu??

premium really isn't much more expensive than regular, you're spending only like an extra $2 every time you fill up.

you can swap ecu's with somebody who has the stock flash but both of you will need to get your keys reprogrammed at the dealer.

 

I think its pretty dumb to swap it out for another ecu... reflash makes the car a little more fun to drive and premium is like an extra 2-3$ a tank... not worth it...

 

Ecu reprogram is around 90 bux deprnding on dealership. And i wud call around to find one. Not all of them do it if u decide to go this route but as it is was stated before i dont see the point to save a couple bux per fill up. The prem gas is better for ur car. U get a lil extra power and if u ever do decide to mod it ur half way to kpro!!!

 

I'll trade you a stock ECU for the reflash? Or I have a stock PNF ecu I could sell to you as is.

 

i'm pretty sure all dealers program keys, it's a pretty standard procedure. also, premium gas is only better for your car if it's required, if it's not required then it's actually worse.

 

The best thing to do is to sell it with and the buyer sending his stock ecu to you on ephatch.com , there would be lots of people who would buy it from you...so in other words trade your reflashed ecu for a stock ecu and have the buyer pay the difference.

 

besides the premium gas, the reflash does clean up the torque really good...

I've got 600 bucks in the bank and was thinking about investing in the reflash. I already have an AEM CAI, Megan Racing Header, and Magnaflow Exhaust...

I would just keep the ECU. Probably a lot more fun.
