Default Bracket for engine mount

I put my type r motor back in my crx and my hood does not close all the way i thought that it was just my clutch cable but the valve cover is hitting the hood i have found another bracket for the driver side engine mount i cant remember if there was a different one i was supposed to use to make the motor sit lower please help Both brackets look the same but not sure cause the other one is on the motor.

thats strange what mounts are you using? ive used yonaka mounts in a few ef's, two had b18's one was a hatch one was a crx, ive also used them in a hatch with a b17 gsr. also used a set of hasports in a crx with a b16, no issues with hood clearance...

I have a Type R in my 88 CRX with Hasport mounts and the hood hits. I am using a 93 integra engine bracket.

From what i understand most B swaps have hood interference.

thats odd so far out of five b swaps (two b16's one b17) i have yet to hit the hood.... but try the bracket if the hood closed before there should be no reason it wont now...

seems kinda odd that if the engine fit before with no clearence issues he would have such a big gap now. something must have changed with out a doubt. OP if if can get to fit trim the inside webbing of the hood and put spacers in.

i have a gsr in my ef with hasport mounts. you can put a washer or 2 between the vertical studs but then the engine sits a little cocked. I just cut the rib support out and shimmed the hood
