!HELP! My Wife's 2000 Accord won't start
The other day my wife went to start her Accord and the engine would turn over but not fire...For the last couple weeks the check engine light has been on. I had it scanned and it displayed a code that is related to the air/fuel. I was told that the car might be dissabled because of a bad ECM. Does anyone have any suggestions.
And if it needs a new ECM how do I know which one to get? (sorry im a newbie)
Its a:
2000 Accord
4dr
manual
2.3 - 4cly

Same problem here. Last night we parked our 2000 Accord EX, when my wife tried to start it this AM the engine turned over but would not start. I went through basic troubleshooting techniques: spark was ok; turned key to "on" while listening for the fuel pump at the fill port - didn't here the pump. I am now trying to narrow the problem down to one of three. I checked the fuel pump fuse and it's OK. Tomorrow I need to locate the PGM-FI relay and check it out. If it proves to be good then the fuel pump may need replacing.
I need help locating the PGM-FI. I think it is under the dash. Do you happen to know it's location?
