greddy turbo kit porting
been reading up on the turbo kit and it looks like to consistently hit 300whp im going to need to port out the wastegate hole so the flapper can open more than 75 degrees. is there ANYONE who has done this already? how much do i need to port it out? anyone recomend a shop in the LA area?
already planning on upgrading the elbo and the DP to 2.5"....MAYBE 3 but i heard that if i make it too big i'll lose power so 2.5 seems good going off of other set ups

there is nothing wrong with going for a 3in DP, but you are not going to be able to maintain AC if you do something like a v-banded discharge like i did on my old greddy kit. I didnt even port the flapper/hole and it held boost fine. The big thing is replacing the elbow, i wouldnt do any upgrades to the dp setup if ur not planning on replacing it. Check out ATP's gt-25/gt28's v-banded discharge, then buy some piping and have someone fab it up for you.
the elbo is what connects the turbo to the downpipe correct? heard taht weirTech makes one was going to contact him once i figured out everything i was going to do.
