was wondering if anyone have dyno results for spoon camshafts
i know there mild cams but just want to see some results people had with them

was it tuned?
cause i just got spoon camshafts and camgears comptech headers apex V-afc controller and aem cai and pushed 178whp after it was tuned

 

This dynoplot was a while back. This engine was as the following :

Spoon balanced B18C (JDM)
-no Spoon cams/gears
-stock cylinder head
-Spoon old style 4-2-1 header (2" collector)
-11.3:1 CR
-stock intake manifold
-Spoon 70mm TB
-Spoon clutch/flywheel
-stock ECU

Reasons the Spoon cams weren't in it cuz Spoon NEVER supply their engines with Spoon cams.

i guess whoever typed in that little commentary on the dyno plot had some beef with spoon... ??? thanks for clearing that up aj pwr.

 

If that's the case I'd say the power is quite good for what amounts to little more than a balanced stock motor.

 

im sorry, but i've gotta call bullshit on that ericks graph. Its daym near impossible to make 213/146 with any cam on a 1.8 let alone the mild Spoon cam. Id bet on the fact that motor is bored to 84mm, thats where all the power is coming from. Displacement. AND on top of that. Erick is NOTORIOUS for lying about engine displacements of certain motors.
