Default Besides the LSD, what is the difference between the Si and ITR tranny?

I have heard that the si tranny is more weak, but i just wanted to get some facts straghtened out. I plan to get a Si tranny for my GSR, but i don't want it breaking on me. Thanks in advance.

They are pretty much the same except gear ratios. ITR/GSR has a runs a bidder diff for power transfer. The Si one just work as good.

SI/ITR gearing is the same. From what I hear the B16 tranny has a smaller input shaft. And therefore more prone to breaking than the B18 tranny.

This is a debateable subject that Katman and his friends have researched extensively. They are debating that the 5th gear in the Si tranny is SLIGHTLY longer than the ITR.

I have the link at home and I will post it just as soon as I get there.

I don't have the link to it anymore, but alot of the tranny charts i have seen show that the itr and si have the exact same gearing. The newer b16a that is. Thanks for your info guys.
