Default I'm an idiot!

So..... I'm an idiot please help.

Here's a quick fairly simple question; I was adding more oil to my car, then I was hosing down the engine because I sprayed some degreaser on it. Well to make this story quick and short, I had forgotten to place the oil cap back on. I didn't spray water near the oil cap BUT a little did splash in there..... I am not talking much at all. I am just wondering how serious that'd be. Obviously water is bad.... but if there is BARELY any, is it worth the trouble of changing the oil? We are talking just a few droplets of water. Your input is appreciated! Thank you HT buddies.

I agree, don't worry. The breather/PCV system will eliminate the water vapor from the crankcase the next time you run the car for 30 minutes or so.

yeah water and oil do not mix, they will separate, and only a few drops of water wont do anything to harm it

I didn't think it would matter.... Just wanted to make 100% sure. I hydrolocked my previous engine... hence my nervousness towards the water.
