ok im bildin a b20vtec allmotor/spray an im not sure what cams i want to go with most people i talk to say skunk2 pro2 or buddyclub spec4..my head is a gsr head flat face valves duel valve springs titanium retainers port polished an 3-way angle valve job....bottom end sleeved b20block 85mm pistons an my compression is 13.5....let me no what cams to go with an also what intake manifold

You already have all this done to your engine and don't have any consideration to what cams your going to run.

Are you using this for drag, street track, daily driver????? Is a smooth idle something your concerned about? projected power band? There are a few more factors other than what you have done to the engine to take into effect.

Given the engine specs you have posted. I will assume your looking at high RPM and would have to suggest a bisi stage 2 setup, but that depends on what stage your head is ported too and what exhaust header you plan on using. You could go with a stage 3 if your head and exhaust allow for the flow.

Another consideration to take into effect will be your 13.5: pistons. How high is the dome, what are the valve reliefs like and will they interfere with a high lift cam? Are you willing to pay to have the pistons machined if they do?

 

damn, thats high..13:5. is the motor currently running? anyways prob have to go like skunk2 pro 2 or buddy club 5. also, get a tune. oh yea, prob have to run on high octane gas. 93 octane.
