I need to know if the rear bumper on a coupe or sedan from 92-95 will fit on a 93 hatchback. I looked on honda automotive parts and it said it was a different part number for the hatch and that the coupe and sedan had the same one. If anyone has tried to replace one please let me know.

 

93 Hatch Bumper Beam? Are you asking about the bumper cover? Or the metal structure under the cover?

I can't see why the coupe/hatch would have different part #'s. IIRC they both share the same bumper cover design so I would only assume that they share the same inner structure.

But you know what happens when assumptions are made...

Do you plan on buying a new one? Why not just buy the proper one for your specific car?

 

im going to the junk yard and they almost never have hatches this is why i want to know because they have lots of coupes and sedans

- Coupe/sedan rear bumpers are identical.
-Coupe/hatch front bumpers (as well as everything forward of the rear of the doors) are identical.

 

so the metal rear bumper support of coupe/sedan doesnt fit hatch?

no it wont work try http://certifit.com/ cheap priced oem knockoff parts and i believe they will ship to your door ordered a whole 1999-2000 ek front end for 130 they dont come painted but eh for the price its worth it. Quality is pretty good you wont be able to tell the difference. good luck hope this helps.
