where do u ground your foglights
thanks, but that area gets wet for me. I think its because its an aftermarket hood?
can I wrap plastic or electric tape around where I have it now and hope water doesnt get in and blow my fuse/lights again?

Are you sure the ground getting wet is the problem? I forget where I have mine grounded, but pretty much the whole car, besides the cabin, gets wet when it rains. I've never had a problem.
yes im sure. it has happened twice with severe rain and each time water dripping right on that fuse box nut that i have it grounded to. If you look closely you can see water around it in the picture. the 2nd time this happened it blew both of my lights.
if you remover your inner fender liner ther is a stud on the frame rail with a few other grounds on it. that seems to be the best spot. easy to get to, dedicated, away from the elements and secure. try that

Look like you're grounding it on the fender. I don't know if that safe place to ground it. Try ground the wire on the chassis. I ground my mine at the bottom near the water fluid. I drill a hole on the car chassis and put a new bolt.
It came with a 30 amp fuse... but since its ebay crap
I'm not sure which amp to even put in it.
and I dont think it should happen to every ebay set... but they seemto have more problem than OEM. which is something I will probably get down the road.

they are working fine now. I swapped for a smart glow 15A fuse. 30A is too much for two55 watt bulbs. I also had to swap the incabin harness, luckily a friend had a spare, since I had to throw away that melted cover.
yeah i didn't even use the harness i rewired the switch directly to accesory that way ill never drain my battery after car is turned off. My ebay fogs work fine, grounded it more near the front of the vehicle. I'm switching my bulbs to 10 000k HID in afew weeks when my car comes outta storage. For the ground wire, when in doubt use some srinkwrap tubing right up until the ground terminal and then bolt it back, make sure that you strip all the paint off where the ground bolt is going etc. Glad you got yours working kcari!
