I haven't been able to pinpoint when and why
but my Cruise Control works on and off.
It even cut off Cruise why it was enabled.
The light on the dash turned off and came out of cruise.
When it doesn't work, I press all the buttons but no luck.
Sounds like a wiring issue. Any suggestions where to inspect?

When I start the car with the remote
I get that painful screeching sound like when trying to start the car when it is already on.
Is this noise caused by the starter?

I forgot to mention that it's a 94 Accord 2dr EXL!

 

The car has 245k.
Anyone have any suggestions about the starting noise?
The noise is present when I use the key and when remote starting.

I would think since its when using key or remote, you probably have either a bad starter drive or a sticking starter solenoid thats keeping it engaged too long. I would replace the starter.
