As you've all probably seen, my hatchback was stolen two nights ago.
What's odd is that my hatch was stolen exactly a night after I test drove a 1991 Hatchback in Nottingham, PA.
What's even more odd is that a friend from high school test drove the same car a little before I did, AND low and behold his car was gone the next night.
Even more stunning is the fact that my car was stolen from "point A", an Integra was almost stolen from "point C", yet this white Hatchback sat right off the road in between my car and the Integra at "point B" in this guy's yard For Sale w/ "B18 Type R swap" written on all the windows yet his car was untouched.
The "owner" of this hatchback is a Puerto Rican and word going around is that his cousin steals/holds up to 20 cars at a time. The cousin drives a 92-95 gunmetal hatchback w/ painted GSR blades and a turbo swap. What's clutch is that the steering column of that car is all taped up.
Whoever has test driven this car, has had their car stolen the next night...
What sucks is that everyone who has suffered from this all talked tonight and just figured this out.
Very shady characters located on Baltimore Pike right in between Oxford, PA and Nottingham, PA and based out of the old GER transmission building. Every car that has been stolen has ended up stripped w/ every single wire cut on Kirkwood Highway in Wilmington, DE.
Spread the word, please.

So why doesn't someone set this douche up. Go test drive this car and then sit outside in the shadows with a shotgun. When he comes up to steal the car, blow his head off. Problem solved!

+3 set them up...put a stop to it!
Honestly, I don't see any reason not to. What I'd do is set up a test drive on that car, shanghai him like you guys say, and part that hatch out that he's selling.
Either that or you could get the police involved. Way too much of a coincidence for the police to not see it.
But being me, i'd be more prone to the violent approach. I treat my cars like I'd treat my children because they are my life. If anyone laid a hand on my kids, it'd be the last thing they did, same goes for my car.

I'd say go over there with everyone that you know that has had their car stolen. GRAB him... throw him in your trunk. Take him to a field. BEAT HIS ASSSS.. and then force him to give up where the cars are! and whos doing it .. and then get the pop involved that way u can still claim your insurance and get the satisfaction of making some ******* ***** *** theif swallow his own teeth!
I'd say this is worth investigating. Definitely in support of the set-up method, but not for violence.
I say get the test drive with some good bait, then take up a position in the bushes with some cameras and catch them. Get some good pictures off, then chase them away. Call the police, provide the proof, and they'll go grab the guys.
PS- for your own "protection," keep a can of mace with you for the bust. Who knows, with some proper "application of self-defense" you may even catch the guys right there.

hes probably swaping the stolen itr motor thats in his car now and putting a stock orginal single back in i bet..and im pretty sure him n his friends are reading this thread now so yeah..anyways good luck on finding your hatch keep us posted!
I really hope the only reason the police aren't busting down his door right now is because their investigating all his contacts/accomplices.
subscribed. I love seeing thieves put to justice. My big question is... and I know this might sound stupid... but is this guy stealing everyones car who test drives his 'for sale' honda? I thought thieves had standards and what... does he fallow you home? A bit confused
