Then why the heck are they calling it a CTR spoiler? Everyone always uses these stupid acronyms and they never freaking explain any of them!!

^ I copied that line here from the ad you posted. Sure every once and awhile you might find people that don't specify but usually (especially on craigslist or websites) there's a # for you to call or text and ask. As for the acronyms, here are a couple you might come across...

CTR = Civic Type-R - Can be any year Civic Type-R starting in '96 and they are still made to this day.
ITR = Integra Type-R - Can be used for any year Integra Type-R starting in '96 and they made ITR's I believe until 2004.

The one in the craigslist ad looks ridiculously similar to the picture I posted. I apologize for my overuse of pronouns. And besides, since when do parts only fit one model of vehicle. That's the very reason Hondas are so great, with a little modification, almost any engine or interior can be made to fit, why wouldn't a spoiler be any different?

And remember, somewhere in the past, you also didn't know everything.

 

I still don't know everything and I never said I did, and I'm not trying to be rude trust me. I guess it looks similar but I think you got the responses you did because your question was kind of self explanatory, the ad told you what it was for. You set yourself up, that's hat made you an easy target I guess. Maybe you could by an EK CTR wing and make it work. Maybe try with a cheaper ebay one first.

 

I appreciate the explanation of the terms, and will try not to make similar mistakes in the future. I came from the EF world, where I understood everything, and there were no CTR, ITR, HFP, or even very many VTEC.

Yeah, I came from B-series so all this new K-series stuff is pretty new to me but I look around on websites and research a lot of things and I feel like I have a pretty decent knowledge of my car now. I learned a lot just by asking questions. I just bought a CRX yesterday for a project, only $400 haha. I might be PM'ing you with some questions because I've never had an EF before, closest thing to an EF was my old DB.

Look ephatch.com has alot of information but we are the almighty Honda-Tech so don't be shy and ask us too... also Charlie ephatch.com is great for having alot of info but I hate the way its setup! The first post is always on the last page??? When you write the first post shouldn't be on the first page... and the search button never gives me what I am looking for... but like you said alot of info is there just the site is upside down!

For the last post being first, you just have to change the format on the "user cp". Goto edit options and set the thread display to linear- oldest first. problem fixed.
