205/50-15 race slicks are cheaper and easier to find used than 16".

I can dig it. Budget racing is all too common.

Ya. I can find used hoosier or kumho race slicks for 15" all day. But 16" I would have to buy new.

2700 lbs is to much car for 205's imo. Leave the 205's to the ek and eg's.....

i don't think 15's will fit unless you change out the rotors & calipers.

Duh. I dont want to change out the rotors or calipers. That is why i asked if anyone has 15" wheels on their RSX TypeS.

If you don't know the answer, best not leave a response.

15" wheels clear a 282mm rotor and caliper by less than 0.25". A 300mm rotor and caliper is going to contact. You may be able to find a beadlock wheel in 15" that does not require a mounting groove that reduces the ID.

15's do NOT fit on the Type S models. They came standard on base models that had smaller brakes.

i work at an Acura dealer, this is well known

It's actually on a DC2 with RSX TypeS front brakes.

And last year for one HPDE I ran 14" Integra wheels with 205/55-14 Hoosier R6 slicks and they worked just fine

No no no lol.. the 14" Hoosiers was on stock DC2 brakes.

I'm sure the RSX TypeS brakes will work fine for me. The rotors and calipers were free, and FASTBRAKES.com is doing all the machine work and re-drilling the rotors for $125 shipped back to me. So that's a pretty cheap brake kit and I wanted to try it.
