what are your opinions on ACT and Clutchmasters?

 

i was pretty happy with ACT with my JR blower..if i didnt have the blower i would have stay d with stock..honda makes good parts

 

stock holds 190 crank hp, how much you have?

Wanna bust a tranny with 125 hp and a 6 puck? EASY!

 

I would go with a clutch masters myself.I know 2 people that have destroyed more than one trans a piece with ACT puck clutches.One destroyed cable trans and the other destroyed a hydro GSR trans.Now they both use clutch masters stage 3 clutches.Thats just my opinion,i don't have either.

 

i like my ACT 6 puck you can drive it like a normall clutch and if u don't slamm gears every were u go its just like a stock clutch. the reason i went with the 6 puck is because i planned on a turbo but now im going NA LS so hopefully it will be needed in the future

I've busted 3 so far!

 

no sohc motor runs those times na. before i did my swap, i had everything done to it na and it pulled a 15.5. so yur fibbin. lies get you nowhere. get a real motor. nitrous is for pussies. its fake horsepower.

ACT is excellent...plus i got one for sale (d-series with a lightened flywheel) (check classifieds)

Clutchmasters Stage V Pedal pressure like my stock DX clutch, but holds 600whp. Ever try the ACT clutch that holds that kind of power? Hope you have a bionic leg.

 

For performance they are both nice...but for comfort I recommend CM.

And don't talk **** to someone like Mist Bone...he is someone who probably knows more then you will ever know about Hondas.

hehe... go with clutchmasters.. i got stage 3-4 for 310 shipped.. brand new and flywheels for 300 shipped.. 600 shipped for both.. there are like 5+ people on honda-tech that have purchased a clutch from me

no clutch master please they blow, I had one on my prelude. AHHHH no good. Now I have a ACT 2600 on my Del Sol boosted I LOVE IT.

 

what about the centerforce clutch, stage 2 i believe. how good are those?
