I’m having problems starting my car ” Honda eg9 b16a2 “ in the morning when i start the car the cold start push the idle to 1300 rpm but the problem is if i press the gas pedal the rev comes down to 600 rpm and eventually the car stops what could cause this,I have already checked the IACV valve and it’s clean replaced the manifold air temperature sensor i was wondering if it could be the 02 sensor? Or the PCV valve?

 

please help does anyone ad this problem

 

The only thing I can think of would be the idle air control valve but you said it was clean.. hmm maybe the unit is still faulty even though its clean? Do you know someone with the same motor that you can swap it with just to make sure?

is your ecu chipped?

 

yeap,but im using without the chip

 

I had this problem also . . After my ECU was chipped

 

yeap i tried a stock ecu and it's the same,the only things that i have to check it's the pcv valve ,o2 sensor or just needs to be tuned or maybe the coolant temp sensor...

 

check your main relay. pull it out and pop off the cover and check the soldered connections if the soldered joints are cracking resolder it and you shouldn't have that problem anymore

the main engine relay on the fuse box under the dash.
