hey everyone - i have a 94 RS- and i figured out the only way to make my car faster without spending thousands of dollars would be FI - nitrious - what would be the best kit for me? and how big of a shot can i run with stock internals? thanks

 

safest would be a zex kit, more aggressive would be a noz or NX kit, i'd say a 50 is safe a 75 is aggressive and anymore will hurt it.

 

most accurate would be a direct port system..most consistent while spraying...and majority of times a 50 should would be 50 to the wheels or more

 

what company has the direct port system? so i would be safe with a 50-60 shot?

 

i used to run a NOS kit..pretty basic for a direct port...the Nx kit looks kick *** and complex..as many will argue who makes better solenoids...i'd vote NOS brand as it's also cheaper

 

but would NOS be as safe as Zex?

 

zex is rated at the flywheel...nos or nx usually rate at the wheels..a standard 55 shot zex would be like equivalent to 35-40hp to the wheels...as a wet nx or nos 50 shot would be alot closer of a gain to the wheels..close to a 50whp if not more..u'd definately feel difference between them...here's a link to the type of nitrous systems...zex is dry shot...i don't really like zex as to problems they've had in the past...in my opinion wetter is better

I run a 80 direct port.... for a low shot (50) run dry. For 70 I would run single fogger wet or direct port.... for more, i would run direct port.

NX 50 shot would work good. power gain is there.. and its not too harsh on your motor.
