anyone have issues with there shift linkage's
My car shifted like butter untill it go to winter time, not its like the shift linkage is geting hung up or got bent, havent looked under it yet with all the snow, But its a jdm b16 in a 98ex y21 hydro tranny.
Could it be the bushing get hard from the cold, or could i have bent my shift linkage? there's this lip pulling into my drive way.
When it's in gear it is great, dosn't grind or pop out

not sure how you could have bent the linkage its tuckted up really high and is protected quite well untill it meets the trans. I think if you bent that you would have done other things also
I don't think it is bent either.....Does it shift differently when the car is cold only, not when warmed up...I know when its near zero here,I can barely move the shifter until the car is warmed up...
it gets like stuck feeling going from 4-3 or from 3-2 like its stiff then it goes into gear, almost like its misalined, if anyone knows what im saying i think the plastic thing under the dust cap on the shifter broke cause a rubber seal is poping up and that may be the problem i have the part but i have to take part of the exhuast off to get to the bolts to take the entire shifter apart.
bump anymore ideas? It was warmer outside maybe in the high 40's low 50's and it seemed to shift easyer i was looking at my clutch fluid and its like brown and looks real watery could that be a problem, and sometime after driving for awhile and leting out the clutch is will make a sweak sound any idea's? should i bleed my clutch fluid? I had the motor swaped less then 20,000 miles ago so i assume the clutch fluid was new when swaped, and tranny fluid was changed less then 5,000 miles.
