Default Skunk 2 Throttle Body

I have a skunk 2 TB on my car and my pedal sticks kinda bad b4 any throttle response, is this common and is there a way to fix it?

makes me feel like a ricer having to actually push the pedal to get some throttle response and reeving to 3-4k rpms to actually get going in first gear, not to mention having to slip the clutch every time i take off

check to make sure your throttle cable is hooked up properly. Sounds like there might be some slack in the line.

its pretty tight, and str8, just feels like the throttle gets stuck and i have to push harder then when i get passed that point it loosens back up, so it revs to 3-4k rpm

there is a screw on the throttle body you can adjust that often can move the butterfly valve a little so it doesn't stick. It should not stick but i have had problems with aftermarket throttle bodies also. just look for the little hex screw and get it to the point where it barely moves it forward so it doesn't stick. BTW, oem honda throttle bodies rock.

i had the same problem with my Skunk2 TB, it will go away if you drive it, or just adjust the screw. it just spaces the throttle plate out. no big deal. 1 minute fix.
