Default skunk2 intake manifold question

how much power will a skunk2 intake manifold and skunk2 throttle body give you on a stock ls motor with just a 3in cold air intake?

Aftermarket I.M. and T.B. would be the last thing I get if all you have is a CAI. Look into freeing up the restriction in your exhaust system before you open up your intake side up further. Example, what is the used of having a 3 inch fire hose if you're using a garden hose water gun set to the 'mist' setting, get the analogy?

the only reason i dont want to do internal work is because i dont want to go to crazy with this motor. just want a lil more power thas all.

Its all kind of a complete package. The Intake manifold will probably hurt your lowend-midrange torque if all else is stock. Tuning and other additions will be needed to ensure your getting the most from your new Hytech or Sk2 mani reguardless.

If you dont want to get your hands dirty, I'd change the I/H/E and get the ECU chipped & tuned.

I also second the motion for a Header and exhaust before an Intake manifold.

I seriously doubt it. Just go with the header/exhaust first and then you can take care of your IM/TB...

GTFO, you wouldn't even see 20 HP gain.

Oh geez. I am so tired of hearing the same questions over and over again. How much horsepower will I get if i do this. How much if I do that.

How bout you do research, look at dynos of others who have already done it and you will get your "rough estimate".

Oh, and isn't that benchdyno or whatever you guys call it? Lock this crappy thread up!

you don't really need a IM/TB on the ls. Just buy I/H/E.

if you aren't going crazy with the motor, then also recommend I/H/E like the others have stated.

Isn't the Type R mani better or even equal to the Skunk2? Atleast thats what i read. But throttle body is a way different thing. First go with I/H/E like KuEy said.
