Sorry to budge in. But is this a controller that can advance/retard the v-tec timing?

 

yes it is... it also takes place of one of your switches where the dimmer/rear fog light/sunroof is

 

it just alters when the VTEC engages, it does not however change the fuel and ignition maps associated with VTEC IIRC.....

I am running an Authentic Spoon P13, first of all, good luck finding a real one for sale.
The chip/ECU is good for about 3-5 whp. It advances the ignition timing, sets vtec at 5000, gets rid of the speed limiter & raises the Red Line.

I would go for a VAFC tuned for more power.
