Default Retard timing on the fly?

Is there any unit capable of automatically retarding your timing when an electrical signal is sent to it by a nitrous solenoid, besides the msd 6 plus? I have decided after looking at many options nitrous is the best way to go for a mild 50hp boot when needed in California. I have an f23a4 which is only rated at 150hp so ill be putting like 205hp on the crank with, so 380 dollar msd system seams like a huge waste of money just to retard the timing a few degees back when the solenoid opens up.

hondata s200 or s300 will do the trick.
It can retard timing, add fuel, activate the solenoid by speed, rpm, throttle percentage, etc.
