???'s on d2 racing suspension
i was thinkin about getting them, and wanted to know how good they were before purchasing them...hows the ride? can you slam your car? and quality of the product......thanks for any info
Rides decent for what they are i guess. they go pretty damn low. quality is ok, you get what you pay for. Just save another few hundred and get koni/gc/gc tophats and be set for a few years at least.
I wouldnt say that. There is plenty worse out there. Do you have any experience with them at all? Most likely not. For a street car that will never see the track, there is nothing wrong with them, except some may say they are a bit too stiff but i dont think so.

and the road conditions of the street vs a track?
not trying to start an argument but this is the one reason why i wont cheap out even on a daily driver street car.
I see your point, and i agree hence why i recommended in my first response for the op to look into koni/gc, however there is nothing wrong with someone buying one of the cheaper made d2/ksport/f&f/etc. if they want. there not unsafe and going to break or anything. they just have not so good valving for their spring rates and may blow quickly. No different then someone putting ebay sleeves on stock shocks. its not unsafe, just kinda a waste of money.
im looking for an entry level suspension on my EM1, right now its sitting on stock shocks and eibach sportlines.
the car will rarely see track time, but i want the ability to go pretty low, ride pretty good, there are some pretty remote twisty roads around here, and i do like the occasional spirited driving.
