Default H22 head with h23 block dyno results!!

I just wwanted to let everyone know my dyno results for my car. Its a 1997 prelude base 5 speed. I have h22 vtec head and h23 block. h22 jdm pistons hoaned, connecting rods bored. hondata s100 tuned by king motorsports and its dynoed at 193 and 162.

I kknow alot of you were interested in those numbers so there they are!

Any ideas of what that may run on the track?

Go track it lol. We don't know how well you drive. Car's only as fast as the driver is good.

Clean up launches and shifting and you can shave .2-.5s off your quartermiles (depending on how bad you sucked to how much better you can get with practice)

Shifting in bare feet works good. Shifting in work boots...not soo good. I'm glad I got a beater and don't got to take my prelude to job sites anymore :D

That dyno seems low. What type header and exhaust are u running. What throttle body and intake mani are u using also with this build did you use a stock head gasket or cometic custom headgasket. With stock head gasket it should be 11.6 compression. Also i would love 2 see u do a compression and leak down test to see what the results are. But it's a good start 2 making power. u should gain from good header intake mani and tb upgrade and also upgrading the exhaust 2.5 or 3inch.

I have a dc header and apexi n1 exhaust with a megan straighpipe aem v2 intake.....and it has a cometic gasket

Soooo not much. A better exhaust will get you a lot more.

I dont know they just said it was a aftermarket cometic gasket..?

U need to find out how thick the head gasket was that could be affecting what ur compression is . Power could be gain from that alone. Also do a compression test and let us know ur results
