Default VAFC jumpin to crome..

ok i purchased my car with a VAFC and i have no idea if the car was tuned on this or if its just monitoring things..anyone know how i can check for a tune or if there is one just clear the tune out so i can use my crome setup.. *NOTE* My car is all motor right now but i will be switching to crome for my turbo setup im goin to go with..

You would need a wideband oxygen sensor to monitor your air fuel ratios to determine how rich/lean the vehicle is running.

I would suggest removing the afc & having the car tuned using a chipped obd1 ecu.

i know i already got a ecu..i just wanna know how to see if this VAFC has a tune on it and if it does how do i clear and just monitor instead of runnin off some kinda bs tune if it even has one

go on the apexi site and down load the manual for the VAFC you have and then you can navigate thru the system.

just reset the vafc and disconnect the vtec off of the vafc so it just monitors the motor and just have the ecu control everything else buddy
