Icon7 Post your 1/4 Times

Hey guys, I'm curious to see what you guys are running with what mods. I'm having a hard decision on what to do with my car so I'm gathering info. that I want to consider in my future decision. So post your mods and your car (EP's and RSX's), your time and maybe some things you want add i.e.

1. What I'm rollin'
2003 Civic Si

2. My Current Mods
DCRH, AEM SRI, 2.25in B-pipe to stock muffler

3. My Current Best Time
15.7 but that was when I was bone stock minus a drop.

4. Current WHP/TQ
162.6whp 136.1tq

5. Future Plans
I'm really leaning towards a K24/K20 frank but the boost bug is really biting me haha.

So how 'bout it guys!?

03' Type S

V2 intake, Hondata reflash, Evo2 catback, Ingalls Stiffy, big heavy stupid 18's, and silly skunk 2 coil over kit...bad idea...

14.3's with horrible traction.

Working on a new set up for this spring and hoping for 13.7's.

Word well i agree try the k24/k20 frank that would be pretty sick especially with the torque the k24 puts down

13.48@101
1.97 60ft
The Last time I ran my car was on Honda Day(Atco Raceway, NJ). I ran a best time of 13.48@101.45 with a best 60ft of 1.97. My current set up is just an '05 Accord engine(K24a4) with Type-S cams and bolt ons. Next year I will be running a K24a1(CRV) engine with 11.5:1 compression, Custom reground cams, & a custom KMOD race header, a diff, and a few other mods- looking to go at least 13.2 maybe 12.9X with that set up.

Nice, I'm assuming you have an RSX? Also, what modifications did you have to do to be able to make the a2 cams work? Isn't the k24a4 vtec the same as the a3's, being only 2 lobe not the aggressive 3 lobe? Are you using a 5 or 6 speed tranny?

It was but my two-step was giving me trouble so my sixty foots aren't the greatest. Driver is a big deal. He knows his car very well with those times

You are correct the k24a4 head is very similar to the k20a3 head and the vtec is a 2lobe set up. I used the entire rocker arm and camsshft set-up out of my original k20a2 engine. 8 rockers had to be modified but it works just fine.

I pulled 13.5 @ 99mph with my Si. I have a A2 swap, kpro, DC race header, Apexi cat-back, AEM RSX-S CAI, Hondata IMG, and I used drag radials. Dyno tuned at 202whp 147ft lbs, but I think it could have been more...

Awesome! That's exactly what I'm looking for. If I can run 13's all motor then I will be satisfied. In fact, the only that I would add to that set-up for my own would be a nice valve train and some great street cams.

its all on traction; when my RT-615s are warmed up really good and i drop the tire pressure to 21psi and with ETD - i can launch at 2step and not have any problems, but when on stock tires at 32psi, warmed up with ETD - 2step causes alot of wheel hop ... i would figure with better suspension, motor mount inserts, and LSD could help alot more too ...

13.0 - 13.20 108 to 111 mph on 8 psi
60ft- 1.97 - 2.10 street tires

2002 acura rsx-s turbo, times were from BOTI in Joliet IL and RT41 dragway in NW IND
