the car is a 99 gsr obd2b with 94 gsr... running on obd1 ecu.

It feels like when timing is off like when you step on the throttle it don't move so you have to go like 25% throttle for it to move.. not tranny/clutch/axle problem... no cel!!! somthing is wrong with temp/sensor/switch... gauge reads HOT HOT like max, even when its been sitting for days.. ecu's been swapped 3-4 times.. i still have to swap dizzys... any suggestions well do thanks..

 

if your temp is reading hot then your overheating...check your coolant level...check your timing...

 

like i said even when motors been sitting for days you turn the key to the on position temp gauge still reads high.. ITS NOT OVER HEATING!! motors not even running. timings been check 10310319310 times!!

 

check the gauge....maybe the gauge has just gone faulty??

 

found out the problem for temp... temp sending unit was out..

car still doesn't go.. trying a compression test tomorrow.. maybe 2 cylinders are out.

 

This may sound stupid, but check to see if your Map sensor and TPS connectors are switched. Sometimes if this happens it wont throw a code but with run kind of how you are explaining.
