Low offset wheel on 98 Accord
Thinking of getting some Rota D2s off my local craigslist. They are +25 offset. The accord is lowered on H&R Sport springs. Will this cause problems with anything? I'd hate to buy them, mount tires then find out they rub/grind/etc. on things under the car..
yes, if you are using the correct size tire for your car you will for sure rub.. you are going out about an inch from the normal stock wheel.
recommended sizes to be used on your car would be an offset of +40 to +48.

Figured as much. I just thought I'd give it a try....I'm not willing to shell out $200 to have my fenders pulled/stretched/etc just to fit rims. And I'm also not willing to attempt doing it myself, since I've never done it or seen it done.
okay now that i think about it more, normal size for that car is 205/50-17 and the 215/45 is .5 inches shorter than the 205/50 so it might work...maybe but then you may need to leave the natural camber on there in order for it not to rub in the back and for the front you may need to trim the inner plastic slightly. the wheel may be either extremely flush and/or stick out about 1/2 an inch.
