the CR trim comes factory with that rear cover where the power top is on standard models. my question is that you can buy that rear cover assembly from sites such as myhondapartsstore.com, can you make that rear cover fit on the standard power top s2000 say a 06 model?

myhondaparts store sells it. thats where that picture came from. i was just wondering if you could make it fit maby like an 06 model. cause i cant shell out 30 gs for a CR but i love the look of that rear cover.
oh well im 99% sure it will onyl fit an S2000 with no soft top. Look at how it fits on the bottom and then look at how much the factory top sticks out.

the tonneau cover (which cost about $1.1k retail) requires removal of the soft top so then you would need the hardtop ($3k).

wow thats pricey. eh, maby someday. ill look up that cover. if it required removal of the soft top couldnt i just use the factory CR cover if i took the soft top off?
I'm not THAT extreme whtie smoke! I guess in my situation I could have no top for the S because it is strictly a recreation vehicle. If there is the slightest chance of incliment weather I could chose not to drive it. Of course that would mean I would miss out on what a treat it can be in the rain haha
I do like the look of these tonneau covers. The Veilside one always seemed over priced for me though. And with a soft top only, should you get caught in the rain you better hope it fits in the trunk.
