Default my brakes locked up

i recently replaced my entire brake system. Integ 4 wheel disks with new pads/rotors/lines and reman calipers/booster/master cyl. prop valve. first two days of driving very easy on brakes mostly engine braking. then on third day went to get on freeway and the car slowed alot when i went to shift. brake pedal was hard and couldnt push it in. car wouldnt go faster then 40. i smelt brakes burning so i pulled over and the pads were smoking and rotors were discolored. basically my brakes locked up and it looks like my rotors are done. does anyone have any ideas what could have caused this? has this happened to anyone or a friend? any suggestions would be helpful

Did you bleed the brakes properly? Did you put the pads on correctly?

sounds like your brake fluid could have gotten contaminated somehow.

i used new fresh fluid and made sure the fluid coming out of bleeder was clear and bubble free.... even if moisture got into the fluid it couldnt have been much
