Default front knuckles

ok im swapping an ls b18a1 into my std hatch and i was just about to put the DA axles in and they dont fit. i know i can either get dx or si knuckles so that the axle will fit in their. my question is i have access to either dx knuckles or DA knuckles. which way should i go and what parts do i need off the DA knuckles to fit my civic?

doesnt make sense at all.. the DA knuckles should fit perfectly. need details of whats not working for you. i swapped DA knuckles to my 90 Std civic. same control arms were used.

ok to make it more clear the spline on the axle that goes into the std knuckle is bigger than than the spline is on the the std knuckle. im asking if i should go with knuckles off a dx or a DA? and what parts do you need to swap to the DA knuckles?

Either knuckle will swap on without any additional parts.

The DX/LX/Si knuckles will keep the same correct suspension geometry and camber curves as the stock knuckles, and you can reuse all of your existing brake hardware.

The DA knuckles are taller and alter the suspension geometry, making the camber curve more aggressive (a bit too much IMHO) and limit compression travel by causing the upper control arms to hit the chassis sooner when used with shortened dampers or extended upper mounts. They have larger brake components and wheel bearings, but you will need to buy new brake hardware if the parts from the DA are missing or worn since the STD components won't work, other than the fluid lines.
