Default ebay short shifters

has any one had any experience with ebay knock off short shifters? are they any good? looking at getting one for my 96 civic...all help appreciated...and another question...it says all civics 88 and up...but is it possible that that are transmission specific? because my motor has the d16a motor in it...not sure about the transmission...thanks

B&M short shifter ordered from Advance Auto.

$54.00. Excellent quality with 40% less throw. There is no reason to deal with Ebay crap.

oem dc integra shifter period!!!!!! i bought one of the fidanzas for my sedan a while back. its ok. i just cant stand how short the throw is now. it actually is so short that its harder to shift. and i would always have to do the first then reverse shift lol. i put oem dc teg shifters in all of my cars now. they have a shorter throw than all oe single cam shifters, but its not so short that its gonna help you mess up your trans by shifting faster that you can clutch. i even took the str shifter out of my coupe and put a teg shifter in it because i would often miss 3rd when racing. i havent missed a gear since the change, and it shifts so much smoother now also.

shy away from that ebay crap, the reason you might pay more for the real thing is because the real companies r&d befor they make it, whereas this ebay junk is just made and thats it, its kinda get what you pay for ...

i have an ebay one and honestly it feels exactly the same as my friend's skunk2. just get it from a reputable seller. and if you like fast shifts, DON'T get shifter bushings, they make it a lot stiffer.

The cheap ones don't use good material. The bushings and pieces wear out prematurely. I have seen a good one and a cheap one side by side and the difference was obvious. I bought a b&m shifter and loved the hell out of it! best money i ever spent on the car!

fidanza? hmm
My friend had installed one of their clutch kits in his del sol. It seems to be holding up ok. Im not sure about their credibility as far as quality goes. The clutch looked well built and sturdy enough to take a proper beating.
You might try the fidanza short shift.

Buy the part once. If you buy crap you might have to buy twice...
Just save the money till you can get a good shifter.

yeah, integra shifters are better. you could find one for under 20 bux. all oem integra shifters are the same...gsr, itr, ls, gs...no difference. well, the itr are chrome not black.
