instead of gettin the MSD 6al and 2step rev limiter... i got me a Digital 6 for a good price from one of my boys. anyone have experience with this? looks pretty self-explanatory with the rev limiter and timing adjusters... i just gotta figure out where all the other wires hook up to.

what rpms do you suggest launching at? i have a DRAG3 ls turbo setup. i usually race on regualr street tires.

i have mine set at 5k for the street and they break up a bit . for the track im gonna set it for like 7k+
id say in your app not knowing anything else about your car and tires. . . id say like 4k . . right around in there.

 

i cant set the rev limiter that high... ill get tire spin like crazy. t3/t4 turbo... only suspension i got are tokico shocks and weapon*R coilovers. i use regular bridgestone potenzas on my stock blackies. they work alot better than the POS michelins i got on my stock LS rims. i need to get new tires... but in the meantime.. im workin on my launches with this 2step rev limiter.

 

i'm interested in that unit as well, i haven't been able to read to much about it yet. how much did you get the unit for? how are the timing retard and rpm launch functions? looks like a good piece

 

the unit is pretty cool. the 2step is intimidating... it sounds crazy! hehe you can use switches to activate the retard and the 2step separately. i got it for $200 off a friend. i heard they sell for alomst $300 brand new.
